The University of Cape Town Ballet Company, typically referred to as the UCT Ballet Company.

Founded by Dulcie Howes in the 1930s. The Company consisted of students from the UCT Ballet School dancing in the corps de ballet, with staff members and professional dancers performing the leading roles.

In 1964, it was incorporated into the Cape Performing Arts Board (CAPAB) as the CAPAB Ballet Company.
