No Peace in the Family is a play by Gibson Kente (1932-2004).

The original text

The play involves a rivalry between brothers who are competing for their mother’s good favour and love.

Translations and adaptations

Later re-worked/adapted as Mama's Love in 1989.

Performances

1984: Presented, with the following cast: Zakithi Dlamini (as Metsi, the mother), Dumakude Mnembe (as Chundu, the elder brother) and Mzala Sugar Langeni (as the younger brother Smoko).
