(19*-) British actor. **** Has had an acting career that has spanned 50 years, from numerous appearances at the National Theatre with Sir Laurence Olivier to starring in 65 countries in his award-winning one-man show Macready. His South African appearances include Macready at the Grahamstown Festival, in 1984, and The Devil you Know in 2006 at the Theatre on the Bay.
