Sandile Kamle (1975- ) is a South African actor, director and opera singer.

Biography
Sandile Kamle was born in Gugulethu, Cape town,
In 1994 he was appointed as one of the first members of Cape Town Opera and made his debut as a soloist in Porgy and Bess in 1996 at the Pretoria State Theatre and in 1998 joined the Cape Town Opera vocal ensemble. In 1999 he began studying opera at University of Cape Town Opera school.
He continued his involvement with Cape Town Opera as a studio member, and in 2000 joined DDK.
He is currently the Music Director for the newly formed Township Opera Company.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Besides his operatic career he has also worked on a number of theatre and film productions, as author, actor and director.
He made his debut as a director in 2009, with a stage show, The Raid and - in the same year - his first feature film: From Village to City. In 2011 he directed his first opera production, Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi.
He made his debut as a film actor in 2006, appearing in Anner House This was followed by appearances in films like Strike Back (2010), Half Good Killer (2012), Felix (2013), Johanna und der Buschpilot - Der Weg nach Afrika (2012) and the award-winning Poppie Nongena (2019).
He is currently the Music Director for the newly formed Township Opera Company and an Adjudicator/Quality Assurer for SASCE and WeCCMA.
