Written in 1965 while the playwright was completing an MA degree in Theatre Arts and Speech at the University of Illinois. Act 1 published in Contemporary South African Plays (edited by Ernest Pereira, published by Ravan Press) in 1977.

Performance history in South Africa
Performed by FUBA drama students under the direction of Sisho Maphisa at the Market Theatre in 1982.
