Citi Boy is an AIDS awareness project aimed at educating people through the medium of the performing arts. It was commissioned and produced by x with sponsorship by The Oude Meester Foundation.

Performance history in South Africa

1992: The play was performed at numerous venues around the Eastern Cape, including township schools, community halls, at the Frere Hospital, The Arts Theatre and the Guild Theatre. It was co-directed by Veliswa Mcata and Darryl Nel. It was also performed at the National Arts Festival in July 1992. The cast included: Zolani Kiviet, Thembalakhe Lubisi, Daluxolo Papu, Madoda Ntonye, Thembisile Maki, Xolani Mafanga and Thabo Mdingi.
