The fur coat in question belongs to Theodora, an actress, who is married to Dominic, a writer. Dominic is a charming cad, an author who employs a ghost to write his books and plays, and is a confirmed sponger and persistent philanderer. Theodora endures his failings until Dominic pawns her fur coat to raise money for a dash to Paris with a young woman. At this she revolts, with results which are dramatic and hilarious. Published by Macmillan & Co in 1943.
