This Lonely Heart is a radio play by Arch Oboler

A radio drama about the great and undying romance of Nadezhda Filaretovna and composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

First broadcast on 14 January, 1940, directed by Roger Pryor with Arch Oboler and Bette Davis.

Translated into Afrikaans as Die Verlangende Hart by an unnamed author, and broadcast by the Afrikaans Service of the SABC from Cape Town on 4 May 1953. [**??] Though no translator is named, it could possibly have been by the playwright Paul Roubaix.
