Miriam Terblanche (1946-) Librarian, cultural tourguide and theatre researcher. Born Alexandria, Eastern Cape, studied Library Science* at the University of Stellenbosch and worked as a librarian and subject specialist at the University of Stellenbosch's J.S. Gericke Library for 21 years, then trained as a cultural tour guide, founding her own company. In 2010 she became a part-time research assistant to Temple Hauptfleisch, her jobs including administrative assistance on the Encyclopaedia of South African Theatre and Performance (ESAT), and the South African Theatre Journal (SATJ).
