Born William James Makin in 1894,
Contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance
Wrote the one-act play O.H.M.S., which won the Cape Town Repertory Theatre Society's one-act play competition in 1929, and was performed by them that year. The text published in The Cape Argus (4 May, 1929).
