Clearly translated from an unknown English source, it is a play about the Spiworth family and is set in a parlour behind Spoworths' general store off Jamaica Road in London.
A copy of a typed text found in the Drama Department archives of Stellenbosch University in 2022, has the dialogue in Afrikaans but the stage directions in the original English.
