Daar Kom Tant Alie is a 1976 South African Afrikaans film directed by Koos Roets.

The film

The film is based on the famous radio story by Mike Heine. Tant Alie, who doesn't like living alone on the farm, decides to go to stay with her daughter in town, with hilarious results.

Production team

Directed by Koos Roets with writing credits due to Jan Scholtz (screenplay) and Mike Heine (radio serial).

Production management was by Tewis Brink and Johann Schutte. Tommie Meyer was the producer and Sias Odendaal was the co-producer. Cinematography was by Koos Roets and film editing by Tim Spring. Bob Riley was the assistant director and Whitney Walls was responsible for sound. Barry Keyter and Tony Keyter were the stunt pilots. Paul Thompson was the assistant cameraman.
