Eerste April ("April the first") is a play by A.M. Nel

The original text

An extremely short play (of 8 pages) in two acts about pranks gone wrong, written for young people and set in a schoolroom.

First published in the collection Woord en Daad ("word and deed") in 1952 and then in Klein Begin in die Drama (edited by J.B. Spies) in 1976.
