The Activate Theatre Festival is a 5-day event run by Mzansi Theatre Project Advancement[1] and consisting of 1 and 2-Hander theatre productions. The festival calls for proposals from theatre practitioners based in KwaZulu-Natal, and then select 10 productions. The selected productions will receive an intensive mentorship for 3 months from industry professionals.
