Performance history in South Africa
1950: Library Theatre, Johannesburg, with Elizabeth Renfield and Philip Birkinshaw.
1951: Produced at His Majesty's Theatre starring Clifford Mollison (as Daniel), Avril Wheatley, Joy Wood, John Boxer, Blanche Fothergill, Michel Anderson.
1972: The world premiere of the musical version of the play was directed by Michael Meacham [3] for NAPAC, starring London actor Basil Hoskins (1929-2005) [4], Mary Harrison and Deborah Witkin.
