Performance history in South Africa
1956: First produced in South Africa by the Brian Brooke Company in 1956, with Joan Blake, Diane Wilson (as Jane), directed by Michael Finlayson.
The performance on 26 November 1956 in which many theatre and radio personalities were involved was in aid of Hungary.
1957: Taken on tour (1957) to the then Transvaal and Southern and Northern Rhodesia, with Separate Tables.
1964: Leonnne Carnot, Brian Brooke, Cynthia Klette at the Brooke Theatre until January 1965.
Produced by The Sandowners directed by Eris Malan, date and venue unknown.
