Biography
A Russian stage and film producer, director and actor, whose many film projects have included Pugachev (1979), Day of Wrath" (1985), The Immigrant (1991), Vengeance (2012), The Last Getaway (2012).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He visited South Africa in the 1980s and performed in and directed a production of The Bear by Anton Chekov at Harrington Street 105, with Afrikaans actors Chris Truter and Christa de Jager.
