Hebrew Opera Company

The Hebrew Opera Company was founded in Cape Town early in 1901 and catered mainly for the many Yiddish speaking immigrants from Eastern Europe.

Staged Shulamith (a Hebrew woman's name) a Yiddish play.

Staged The Converted Priest, a Yiddish play.
