Boy Meets Boy was a 1975 off-Broadway musical comedy with music and lyrics by Bill Solly, and book by Bill Solly and Donald Ward, produced by Christopher Larkin and Edith O'Hara in association with Lee Barton at the Actor's Playhouse.

The place is London and Paris. The time is 1936, shortly after King Edward VII abdicates to marry American divorcée Wallis Simpson.

Performance history in South Africa

1994: First production in South Africa, 1994, directed by Marthinus Basson for CAPAB, featuring Blaise Koch as Clarence Cutler (Fleur du Cap Award for Best Contribution to a Musical or Revue), ****??. ** Then moving to the Fringe at the National Arts Festival, 1995.

1996: Presented by the Market Theatre and CAPAB Drama opening 7 March 1996 at the Market Theatre directed by Marthinus Basson. Musical director Janine Neethling, choreography Julian Brandon, design Peter Cazalet, lighting Malcolm Hurrell featuring Ian Duncan (Guy Rose), Brian Heydenrych (Casey O'Brien), Paul Harris (Andrew), Blaise Koch (Clarence Cutler), Diane Wilson (Lady Rose and Josephine de la Rose) and a large cast.
