Mr Kelly (17**-18*), a soldier and amateur actor
He was a member of the Garrison Amateur Company (see also Garrison Theatre), who appeared as "Stedfast" in The Heir at Law (16 August, 1826).
Mr Kelly (18**-?), a stage technician and manager.
Biography
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He was a member of the company of players recruited in England and brought to South Africa by Henry Harper in 1884. In Harper's opening production in the newly built Theatre Royal in Cape Town, he did the sets for Faces in the Fire () and The Two Gregories (Dibdin), and presumably other productions during in the rest of the season.
