R. Clarke (fl. 1858-1860) was an amateur actor.

Biography

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was possibly a soldier in the local garrison, the 59th Regiment, and was an occasional member of Charles Fraser's company during its season in Cape Town (1859-1860), and made his first appearance on stage in the performance of Luke the Labourer on 15 June, 1859.
