Meier Tzelniker

Meier Tzelniker (1894-1980) [1]. British actor.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Starred in Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice in 1951 in Johannesburg. In 1946 he starred as Shylock in the New Yiddish Theatre Company production of this play at the Adler Hall, Whitechapel in the heart of London’s East End [2].
