First performed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in July, 1835. First performed in News York at Wallack's Theatre in 1854.
Published in London as No 834 of Dick's Standard Plays in [183-?] and in New York by O.A. Roorbach [186-?]

1870: Performed by the Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company, Cape Town, on 2 September with The Waterman (Dibdin), as a benefit evening for Miss De Courtney.
1870: Performed by the Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company, Cape Town, on 19 December as "Sick Benefit" for T. Brazier, with A Terrible Tinker (Williams).
