J.B. Howe ()[] was a playwright and comedian.

Often referred to as "Jabey" by friends and acquaintances.


Biography

Among his written works are The British Slave, or Seven Years of a Soldier's Life (), Scarlet Dick

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He came to South Africa as a member of the Disney Roebuck company.
