One of Aron’s “Irish” plays, it deals with the efforts of a daughter to escape her mother’s stifling influence, which come to fruition when a defrocked priest arrives to lodge in their boarding-house. First performed at the Baxter Studio Theatre in 1977, and published in Seven Plays and Four Monologues, 1985.
