Alfred Paumier
Alfred Paumier (1870–1951) was a British stage and film actor and company manager.

Biography
Born in Everton, Liverpool, on 14 November, 1870 as Alfred Gardner Pickthall Hodgson, he became an actor, initially on stage,
On stage his broadway appearances included a Broadway production of The Story of the Rosary (Howard) in 1914.
He later also appeared in some films - including The Lifeguardsman (1916), Wanted: A Widow (1916), and The Amateur Gentleman (1920).
He died on 25 January, 1951 in Richmond, Surrey.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Paumier visited South Africa in 1911 with his company, inter alia performing in the Opera House Cape Town. The company's repertoire included performances of The Midnight Wedding (Howard) and The Speckled Band (), the latter in which Paumier played "Valmar".
