André Lemmer (1945-2020) was a teacher, a lecturer, a Professor of Education, an actor, a director, a writer.
Biography
He died of brain cancer on 24 August, 2020.
Theatre activities
He was one of the authors and one of the co-compilers of the African Folktales Onstage! 1 & 2 Junkets books.
He wrote the play Playing in the Park, which appeared in the Junkets publication Short, Sharp & Snappy (plays for South African high schools), published by Junkets.
Add to which Junkets hopes to publish posthumously his teen novel Stutterer.
