Academic and Non-Fiction Authors’ Association of South Africa (ANFASA) is a national association of authors of general non-fiction works, textbooks and academic works. Founded by Monica Seeber in 2004 it is dedicated to defending their intellectual property rights, to promoting their works and to sharing information and offering advice and expertise on writing and publishing.
Though founded primarily for authors of non-fiction, ANFASA's aims, objectives and programmes apply broadly to all authors and the association welcomes authors of fictional works as members as well, since many authors write both fiction and non-fiction.
