Take Care of Dowb is a farce in one act by J.M. Morton (1811–1891) [1].


Performed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket 23 November 1857 and published in Lacy’s, vol. 34. and later Samuel French (Series:Lacy's Acting Edition, 498).

Performance history in South Africa

1862: Performed as An Object of Interest by Clara Tellett and her company in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town, on 18 August, with a performance of the song "The Carpenter" by "an amateur" and The Youthful Queen, or Christine of Sweden (Shannon).
