Johnny Bovang was born in Kristiansand, Norway, where he began training before moving to the Royal Ballet School, London. Joined PACT Ballet in 1982. In 1988 returned to Norway for one year, rejoining PACT Ballet July 1989. Promoted to principal dancer in January 1992. Repertoire includes Franz in Coppelia, Oberon in The Dream and Albrecht in Giselle.
