Diamond Cuts Diamond is a one act satirical comedy by Nikolai Gogol
A satire on gambling in Russia.
Translated and adapted into English by Winifred Katzin and published in English in Short Plays from Twelve Countries, a collection of one act plays selected and edited by Winifred Katzin (London: George G Harrap and Co., 1937)
Katzin's rather heavy-handed adaptation of Nikolai Gogol’s text was later also published as a playtext by DALRO, 1969.
