F.C.L. Bosman (1980) refers to a number of people simply known as "Leonard",
Bosman also discusses three people with the surname of "Leonard": C.W. Leonard, Chrissie Leonard and F.W. Leonard (see the entries on them).
"Leonard" the actor (fl 1870s)
"Leonard" the playwright/translator/adaptor (fl 1880s)
A Leonard is mentioned as the Dutch author of one act plays and translator/adaptor of a number of French plays, though it is not indicated whether this person was a Dutch citizen or lived in South Africa.
