Herodes is a Dutch historical drama by Daniël Martinus Maaldrink (1851-1891)[1].

The original text

A play about the Biblical figure of Herod the Great and his wife Mariamne, described as a "Historisch Drama met een voor- en naspel" ("an historic drama with a prologue and an epilogue"). The text was published in 's-Gravenhage by A. Rössing, 1885.
