Boothroyd Fairclough was a renowned British tragedian

Brought out to Cape Town in 1876 by Disney Roebuck for a popular season of Shakespeare at the new Theatre Royal in Burg Street and the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town. Roles included "Hamlet"
