Pearl Adler was a dance teacher.

Biography and Education

Born in Johannesburg in 1896 and educated at the Roedean School, Johannesburg.

General career

She was the Licentiate of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and held the Certificate of the Cecchetti Society of Southern Africa, was the holder of Lydia Kyasht's Full Certificate, Russian Imperial Ballet School Method and Monsieur Pierre's Certificate, Teacher of Ballroom Dancing. She assisted with the founding of the South African Dancing Teachers Association and served as the Vice-President. She also served as the Secretary of the South African branch of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
