Vlaeberg Uitgewers (or Vlaeberg Publishers) was a Cape Town based publishing house active between 1989 and 1994.

Their list consisted of a wide range of works on disparate themes such as politics (works on Mandela and F.W. de Klerk), cookery (recipes for diabetics, etc.) and various aspects of cultural history. The latter range includes works such as Founders and Followers: Johannesburg Jewry, 1887-1915 by Wendell Kaplan and Marian Robertson (1991); a history of Western folk art in South Africa (Die Geskiedenis van Volkskuns in Suid-Afrika: 'n Studie van Westerse volkskuns in Suid-Afrika, 1992) by J. Celestine Pretorius; and most importantly for this encylopaedia, the superb edition of Jill Fletcher's useful account of early theatre in the country, The Story of South African Theatre 1780-1930 (1994).
