The Electric Man is a play by Charles Hannan (Robert Charles Hannan, 1863-1922)
The play tells the science fiction story of a primitive Robot that is mistaken for the hero, with farcical consequences. Apparently it was originally written as a three-act play and first performed November 1906 New Royalty Theatre, London - though not published. In 1910 it was reworked to a one-act version of the same name and published in London by Samuel French.
