My Night with Reg
A 1994 play by British playwright Kevin Elyot. It is set in the gay community in London during the mid-1980's, at the beginning of the AIDS crisis, and focuses on six gay friends over a period of a number of years. [1]

Adapted to a South African setting and translated into Afrikaans by Henry Mylne in 2002. Staged as My Aand met Arné and also as My Nag saam met Reg.
Performance history in South Africa
2002: Staged as My Aand met Arné at the KKNK 2002, directed by Henry Mylne, with Terence Bridgett, Grant Swanby, Deon Coetzee, Darren Kelfkens, Ivan Zimmermann and Nico van Zyl.
2002: Staged as My Nag saam met Reg and also in English as My Night with Reg at the Market Theatre in December 2002, directed by Henry Mylne, with Terence Bridgett, Neil Sandilands, Deon Coetzee, Darren Kelfkens, Rowan Cloete and Nico van Zyl. The same production (alternatively in English and in Afrikaans) was staged in The Warehouse in Cape Town.
2004: The same production was staged (alternatively in English and in Afrikaans) in the Johannesburg Civic Theatre in January 2004, with Grant Swanby and Duncan Lawson replacing Neil Sandilands and Nico van Zyl.
