(18**-18**) Performer and administrator. He lived at 67 Bree Street, Cape Town, where he sold tickets and subscriptions for performances of the amateur Dutch company Door Yver Bloeit de Kunst (1849-1855). He was also the Secretary of the company. It is assumed that, as a member, he also performed in the productions.
