Contemporary Plays by African Women is an anthology of plays by women from various parts of Africa, edited by Yvette Hutchison and Amy Jephta.

Contains:

An Introduction by the editors, as well as an introduction to each individual play and its production(s), including critical notes and a bibliography on each. The plays are: Niqabi Ninja by Sara Shaarawi; Not That Woman by 'Tosin Jobi-Tume; I Want to Fly by Thembelihle Moyo; Silent Voices by Adong Judith; Unsettled by J.C. Niala; Mbuzeni by Koleka Putuma; Bonganyi by Sophia Mempuh Kwachuh.
