Did I Dream It? is a farce in one act by J.P. Wooler (1824-1868)[].

The original text

First performed at the Strand Theatre on November 19, 1860.

Published by Thomas Hailes Lacy (Lacy’s Acting edition) in 1860, again in 1870.

Performance history in South Africa

1865: Performed as part of a benefit for victims of the great storm that had recently raged by what may be referred to as the Robben Island Amateurs (a cast probably made up of inmates and staff members of the Robben Island asylum)
