Anti-apartheid

This is a general term that after 1948 came to refer to the general opposition to the racist philosophy, activities and regime that dominated South Africa from colonial times. The term was really established internationally by what became known as the Anti-Apartheid Movement (AAM)[1], which involved a number of movements, activities and attitudes that opposed South African apartheid.
