South African Magical Society

The South African Magical Society (or S.A.M.S.) is the oldest magicians’ society in Africa, and one of the oldest in the world.

Founded in 1918, the society celebrated its 100th birthday last year. S.A.M.S. has members from all walks of life: businessmen, academics, sea captains, artisans, doctors, sales people, writers, and of course professional entertainers.
