Benjamin Northling-Swemmer (1897-1963). South African playwright and poet.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He wrote the one act plays Armed for the Fray (CNA, 1940), Live and Let Live, Private Ward, Sauce for the Gander, The Breaking Point and The Doctor's Wife (the latter five published as Pentagon: Five Outspoken One-Act Plays by Central News Agency in 1943).
