Ghoema

by David Kramer and Taliep Petersen. A musical play that explores early South African history and celebrate the musical heritage of the Cape. The first production in 2006 directed and designed by Kramer, with musical direction by Petersen. Nominated for 7 Fleur du Cap awards, winning 2 (Best Set Design and Best Lighting design). Called Spice Drum Beat: Ghoema for its London run.
