Esau Mthethwa (18**-19**) African vaudeville and musical performer.

With his brother Isaac Mthethwa he founded the Lucky Stars in 1929, while a student at the Amanzimtoti College. Devised/wrote Ukuqomisa (Courting) and Umthakathi (Witch) for performance by the Lucky Stars. Performed mostly in Natal, between 1929 and 1936 .
