Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He was probably a member of the Alfred Dramatic Club (later the Royal Alfred Dramatic Club) in the period 1860-61, and specialized as a singer and dancer.
Mentioned by name in the programme for a joint production by Royal Alfred Dramatic Club and the Cape Town Dramatic Club of Helping Hands (Taylor) and No!!! (Clarence), on 2 and 9 September, 1861, when he sang a song.
