Clive Parnell (19**-). Actor, broadcaster and writer.

Biography

He was married to Annabel Linder until 1966.

In 1980 he entered the world of advertising as a director of audio and visual communication for several leading agencies. He formed Clive Parnell and Associates in 1981.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He had a role in Neil Simon’s Come Blow Your Horn (1962). He also starred in the Brooke company’s production of The Ageing Adolescent in 1978 at the Brooke Theatre and in Mothers and Fathers together with Lesley Nott, Elizabeth Rae and Ian Winter. It was produced by Toerien-Firth Company and staged at the Barnato Theatre in 1980.

Other productions include The Public Eye, The Private Ear, Dear Me, The Sky is Falling, Kataki (1968) and Twelve Angry Men.
