Johan Fourie (19**-19**)
Johan Fourie (19**-19**) was an actor, director and touring company manager.
Biography
He started off with the Kaapstadse Afrikaanse Toneelvereniging (K.A.T.) before becoming fully-professional. Played in Die Kwaksalwer (19*) for André Huguenet. * In the 1950s and 1960s he toured rural towns with his own professional company, the Johan Fourie Toneelgeselskap, one of the last to do so.
He was contracted to visit 130 platteland towns with Die Laaste van die Takhare in the name of and in co-operation with CAPAB in 1966. CAPAB paid R50 per performance, box-office takings were presumably for the account of the contracted company.

Johan J. Fourie
Also known as GiGi Fourie, Johan Fourie or J.J. Fourie, but usually referred to as GiGi Fourie by colleagues and friends.
Johan J. Fourie (194*-) is actor, teacher, drama lecturer, theatre and restaurant manager.
Biography
He studied drama at the University of Stellenbosch, and after a period as actor, became a drama lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Stellenbosch. He completed a Masters in Drama in 199*.
He took early retirement to start a theatre company, and open a guest house, restaurant and later a café theatre. GiGi’s Bistro (an active and influential theatre restaurant) in Stellenbosch during the 1990s. GiGi’s Bistro was sold in 1999 and renamed the Dorpstraat Teaterkafee (The Dorp Street Theatre Café).
For many years the administrative force behind Spektrum Produksies, which he had originally founded with his wife, Juanita Swanepoel. He later sold it to Gaerin Hauptfleisch.
In 2002 became the manager of the Klein Libertas Teater (Little Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch)
