Mr Ferguson's Saloon was a venue in the Swiss Hotel, Plein Street, Cape Town, used for performances from time to time in the 1860s.
F.C.L. Bosman (1980: p. 271) mentions performances by the Amateur Dramatic and Christy Minstrels Company and the Young Men's Dramatic Company in 1867, their evenings including renditions of Love in Humble Life (Scribe and Dupin), The Turned Head (Buckstone), Ben Bolt (Johnstone) and A Shilling Day at the (Great) Exhibition (Halliday and Brough).
